The Department of Computer Science at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for a one to three year faculty position to begin in August 2018. The successful candidate will teach a combination of undergraduate computer science courses including but not limited to introductory and core computing courses, security/computer forensics, system and software development, and information technology. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester. Submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability and research potential (samples of scholarship, articles or conference papers) and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Carol Traynor, Department Chair, via the college website at Three letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted in PDF format via email to the department faculty assistant, Sandi Provencher at Review of applications will begin on October 1, 2017. Founded in 1889, Saint Anselm College is a Catholic, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition.  The community includes approximately 2,000 students, 150 full-time faculty members and 380 full-time staff in addition to the monks of Saint Anselm Abbey.


A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required; ABD candidates may be considered if their degree is near completion. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level as well as scholarly research. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
