Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor in Information Sciences and Technology

Penn State Greater Allegheny invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor in Information Sciences and Technology, (multi-year appointment, 36 weeks) to begin August 2018, or as negotiated

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses at the Penn State Greater Allegheny campus in a variety of areas related to the BS degree program in Information Sciences and Technology. Courses include systems analysis, digital communications, cybersecurity, 3rd/4th generation programming languages (including object oriented), discrete mathematics, project management, and relational database management using traditional, hybrid and online delivery methods

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Information Science Technology is preferred. Applicants that are ABD will be considered. Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is desired. Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology, and hybrid and online teaching is an advantage. Prior college-level and online teaching experience preferred. Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is important
