Major Work Characteristics/Summary of Position
Tenure track faculty position in Computer Science. Applicant must be dedicated to both teaching and research. However, a satisfactory level of service is also expected.

Ability to contribute through teaching, scholarship and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Computer Science with research experience or expertise in Networking and/or Security.

Desired Qualifications
1) Ability to design and teach one or more network and security courses at the graduate level such as: Overall Information Systems Security, Network Security, and Database Security.

2) Ability to cover at least two (ideally three) of the core graduate courses: Networking and Advanced Networking, Distributed Systems, Security and Forensics.

3) Ability to conduct research and scholarship. The department supports Interdisciplinary and/or collaborative research with other STEM disciplines and encourages undergraduate as well as graduate research.

4) Candidates expected to contribute to the growing master's degree program in computing and information systems as well as undergraduate programs in computing.

5) Also knowledge in CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification would be beneficial.
