Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) invites applications for the full time position of Assistant Professor of Computer Science.

The Assistant Professor of Computer Science will teach computer programming for qualified undergraduate students with mathematics and natural science applications and will participate in curriculum development, student advising, program assessment, and student recruitment.

The faculty member has responsibilities of teaching, research/creative achievement, and service functions and shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department. This person reports to the Chair of the Department of Mathematics.

Qualifications; Required: Earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or appropriate related discipline, leadership experience, educational preparation in accordance with requirements of the University and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. 

Preferred: Academic leadership experience, experience with student projects, cooperative educational arrangements with industry partners, and internships with industry partners.
