Rider University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science.  We are searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to both teaching and research in the liberal arts environment.  Candidates should have the ability to teach introductory, intermediate and advanced courses.  Those candidates that can augment the existing curriculum with their own contributions are desired.

A Ph.D. in Computer Science is required.  The successful candidate will have a strong research portfolio, ideally in one of the following areas:   machine learning, artificial intelligence or cybersecurity.  Candidates will be expected to conduct novel research, and incorporate student collaborators into their work.  Those candidates who can build interdisciplinary collaborations with Rider faculty will be preferred.
