The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions and visiting faculty positions starting August 2018. The department, which continues to experience strong enrollment growth, offers B.S. degrees in computer science and software engineering. These programs are accredited by the Computing and Engineering Accreditation Commissions of ABET, respectively.

We are looking for outstanding candidates from all areas of computer science and software engineering who embrace the mission and vision of Rose-Hulman to join our collegial team of 21 faculty.  Candidates who can broaden and enhance the educational experience of our students and department are especially encouraged to apply. Rose-Hulman offers an interdisciplinary robotics minor, an ongoing research project on human-robot collaboration and the National Academy of Engineering’s Grand Challenges program among its vibrant interdisciplinary initiatives.

For the tenure track faculty positions, a doctorate or near completion in computer science, software engineering or a closely related field or equivalent industry experience is required.

For the visiting faculty positions, a doctorate or near completion in computer science, software engineering or equivalent industry experience, or master’s degree with comparable experience is required.
