Teaching Professor in Cyber Security in Department of Software and Information Systems at UNC Charlotte

UNC Charlotte is seeking applicants for a non-tenure-track teaching faculty position in cyber security. Primary responsibilities are to teach three cybersecurity-related courses per semester ranging from introductory to upper division courses. An ideal candidate will have some combination of a PhD degree in CS or a related discipline (required), prior experience teaching computer science courses, and industry experience in cybersecurity. The Department of Software and Information Systems (SIS) in the CCI has strengths in cybersecurity, human centered design, and intelligent systems and analytics. SIS offers a MS in Cyber Security and a PhD in Computer and Information Systems. The department is in a phase of significant growth in the number of students and faculty, and amount of external funding. Applications must be submitted online at https://jobs.uncc.edu/.
