POSITION SUMMARY: Moravian College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant or associate professor level in computer science to begin Fall 2020. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field. Candidates who are ABD will also be considered. The successful candidate will have a broad range of computer science interests, strong interpersonal skills, and a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts context. Candidate with an interest in data science are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Typical teaching responsibilities each semester will be either two courses with associated laboratories or three courses from a broad range of introductory to advanced undergraduate electives. Applicants should also have an interest in curriculum development and be able to engage students in part of their scholarly interests. Moravian College faculty are encouraged to participate in interdisciplinary teaching and research.

  • Adjustable focus
