Position Summary:
Yeshiva College of Yeshiva University invites applications for tenure-track faculty at the assistant professor level in computer science. Salary is competitive. The teaching component of this position begins Fall 2019. This position is at the undergraduate level, with the potential to teach at the graduate level in the future.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Further the state of the art in computer science in general, and security specifically, via research and open source contributions
  • Teaching C.S. courses, including Security, Networking, as well as other C.S. courses as needed
  • Mentor/guide students in their intellectual and professional development
  • Ensure that the department's course offerings and priorities remain state-of-the-art and aligned with requirements, expectations, and applications, of industry and graduate programs in security and related areas

Experience & Educational Background:

  • Must have, or be completing, a Ph.D., or its equivalent in professional experience.
  • Candidates with strong credentials in security are especially encouraged to apply, but others with adjacent expertise are encouraged to apply as well

Skills & Competencies:

  • Demonstrated expertise in both practice and scholarship in computer science, especially in security
  • Proven teaching ability
  • Industry experience
