James Madison University invites applications for a full-time visiting assistant professor/visiting instructor in the Computer Science department beginning August 2018. This is a 2-year appointment.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in computer science. There will also be support and opportunities to conduct scholarship.

Required qualifications include a minimum of a M.S. in Computer Science or related field, excellence in teaching and a commitment to the liberal arts.

The JMU Computer Science department is a dynamic and supportive community with 18 full-time faculty members and approximately 600 undergraduate majors.

Established in 1908, James Madison University is a comprehensive public institution offering undergraduate, masters and doctoral programs to more than 20,000 students.
