The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks highly qualified applicants for a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position as a Lecturer of Computer Engineering to develop and teach distance learning and on-campus classes and laboratories. The Lecturer will also participate in the program’s recruitment and advising initiatives. The position is to start on July 10, 2020.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate for the position needs to have excellent pedagogical and communication skills and a commitment to excellence and innovation in distance learning and on-campus instruction. Candidates should have expertise in computer hardware engineering, including knowledge in Digital Logic Design, Computer Architecture, Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, Assembly Language, Digital Systems Design, Hardware Description Languages and Data Analytics Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: Engineering programming, FPGAs, Computer networking, Data analytics, Software engineering, Data structures, Discrete math.
