The University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Mass Communication invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Multi-platform Journalism beginning August 16, 2021. We seek a teacher-scholar who will teach journalistic practices across multiple platforms such as web, video, print, mobile, and social media, and who will contribute to the research and community engagement mission of UA Little Rock by establishing a program of academic and creative scholarship.

Required Education and/or Experience: A Doctoral degree in Mass Communication or a related field. ABDs will be considered and are encouraged to apply; Experience in teaching college classes; Experience in teaching online courses; Evidence of scholarship or scholarly potential.

Preferred Education and/or ExperienceThe ability to teach core classes in the School of Mass Communication, in particular, MCOM 3310 Web Principles and Design.
